To work with Scale

Step 1

If you wish to work with scale, first you must select the object that you want to change the rectangle scale value. After that, select the Transform option from the Edit menu. Then, select the Scale option and you are able to see it clearly from the picture below

Choose Edit>Transform>Scale

Then, you'll see that the object has changed just like the picture below.
